Larsen’s Beach Fencing going up

Late Friday afternoon, fencing began blocking the lateral trail through Lepeuli, ( the ancient Alaloa trail that circumnavigates the island of Kauai).  This is a historic public trail.

The legality of  location of this fence has not been determined.  The location of the boundary of the Conservation District has not been determined by the Land Use Commission.  This fence should not be constructed.

There are reports of beach goers getting beaten up at Larsen’s Beach.  If you know of anyone who has recently been threatened or accosted at Lepeuli, please have them report the incident to the Kauai Police Department
